GALVANIZED STEEL

Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon, with maximum carbon content 2.14 %. Steel, a metal alloy with iron as the main component, is primarily appreciated for its mechanical stability and load-bearing capacity. The use of a thin zinc coating protects steel from corrosion. Approximately half of the world zinc yield is used for galvanizing and thus also for corrosion protection.
