Material properties

KJG a.s. is a multimetallic company that uses high quality materials for processing. In its portfolio, it has seven basic materials plus painted sheets in more than 40 colour versions. The exclusive suppliers of materials are European companies that meet all the required standards. This guarantees high quality of raw materials and is a prerequisite for high quality standards of KJG a.s.

Aluminium does not occur in nature in its form. The first theory about its existence was created by the French chemist Antoine Lavoisier in 1778. Aluminium was first extracted in 1825 by the Danish chemist Hans-Christian Oersted. Before it was discovered that aluminium could be made cheaply from bauxite, it was the most expensive metal in the world. Aluminium forms 8 % of the earth's crust in various minerals, making it the third most abundant element after oxygen and silicon. In the construction industry, it is used for objects where high corrosion resistance is required, it is suitable for all types of roofs, facade profiles or gutter systems.
