Material properties

KJG a.s. is a multimetallic company that uses high quality materials for processing. In its portfolio, it has seven basic materials plus painted sheets in more than 40 colour versions. The exclusive suppliers of materials are European companies that meet all the required standards. This guarantees high quality of raw materials and is a prerequisite for high quality standards of KJG a.s.

Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon with a maximum carbon content of 2.14 %. Steel, a metal alloy with iron as the main component, is especially valued for its mechanical stability and load-bearing capacity. The use of a thin film of zinc protects steel against corrosion. About half of the world yield of zinc is used for galvanizing and thus also for corrosion protection.
