Material properties

KJG a.s. is a multimetallic company that uses high quality materials for processing. In its portfolio, it has seven basic materials plus painted sheets in more than 40 colour versions. The exclusive suppliers of materials are European companies that meet all the required standards. This guarantees high quality of raw materials and is a prerequisite for high quality standards of KJG a.s.

Zinc has been used as a part of brass since ancient times. Europeans have discovered the positive properties of this metal in the 17th century. Due to its corrosion resistance, zinc is excellent for roof drainage and always finds new areas of use and last but not least because it is well recyclable. Titanium zinc material is produced according to STN 988 (STN EN 988) standard. The alloy consists of electrolytically pure zinc according to STN 1179 with the degree of purity of 99.995 % and of precisely determined proportions of additives of copper and titanium. The great importance of this alloy lies, among other factors, in its material-technological properties.
