Rubber seals

Rubber seals are building elements made of various types of rubber or elastomers that serve to seal different joints. They prevent the penetration of water, air, dust and other substances.

Function of rubber seals

Rubber seals perform many crucial functions, depending on the specific area of use.

  • They prevent leakage of liquids and gases – they protect structures and materials from water, air, chemicals and dirt.
  • They dampen vibration and noise – rubber absorbs shocks and reduces noise excellently, which is useful in various environments.
  • High resistance – withstand both high and low temperatures, UV radiation, acids and other aggressive substances.
  • Protection against mechanical damage – serve as a protective barrier between metal or other hard surfaces.

Rubber seals are used in various industries. Especially in the construction industry, they are important, for example, as roof and facade seals. They are used to seal joints in roof coverings, around chimneys, windows or doors.
