Anti-perching bird spike system

The unique spike system H118 is suitable for treating facades and window panes against swallows.

The system is installed with the spikes down.

The verified efficiency of the system against swallows is 85 %. This means that 7 of the 50 nests will remain on the facade after the first year of treatment. After the birds have flown south, the created nests must be removed. In the following years, the number decreases because, due to the difficulty of nesting in a given location, the number of pairs bound to this nesting site also decreases.

If the overhang of the roof or facade is very large, the efficiency of the system decreases rapidly, because birds can make a nest in the shape of a pocket under the system quite atypically in the surface of the facade.
